 Each LBV system comes standard
with a basic spares and tool kit. The kit has everything
needed for basic repairs and maintenance. More comprehensive
kits are available.
Albeit LBV is a complex piece
of equipment it is very simple to work on. In addition
to the simplicity of repair is the extensive Procedures manuals
which are available here on the manufactures website
BSK150 - Included
Included in the BSK150 are
all the basic tools required to work on LBV including
screwdrivers, allen keys, view port protector sheet and
vacuum pump. In addition, the RS232 cable enables software
updates.
Also, included are basic spares
such as o-rings, fasteners, propellers, lamp, and view
port cleaner. Most systems come with a spare thruster
assembly.

For the user that is offshore
or can not afford any delay in getting parts the Remote
Spares Kit is the best insurance. Fitted in a Pelican
brand case there is virtually every part required to
rebuild LBV. Should something happen and the vehicle
flood all the electronics, cameras, motors, etc are included,
even a spare view port. Other items can be added such
as shells, ballast tray and multiple thrusters.
