One of the many useful features of the LBV system is the on screen display - Video Overlay. With a variety of important information that is customizable the Video Overlay is an invaluable tool. Features displayed include:

1. Vertical Up Thruster Gain Setting
2. Horizontal Thrusters Gain Setting
3. Heading
4. Turns Counter
5. Camera Angle Indicator
6. Date
7. Vertical Down Thruster Gain Setting
8. Trim on or off/Light Level Indicator
9. Depth
10. Temperature
11. Time

The Video Overlay is displayed along the bottom of the screen, however, it can be moved to the top or off by simply pressing the Position key on the Control Console.

Customizable features include:

• 28 character user text input (opposite of main information)
• Units (feet freshwater, feet seawater, meters freshwater, meters seawater, Celsius, Fahrenheit)
• External and internal temperature

Warnings are also displayed on the video overlay. Should there be a water leak detection the alert will prompt on screen.
