Menus
LBV software contains a variety of menus enabling each user to set, calibrate, diagnose and customize the system. Using the control console keypad the menus can be manipulated. Another feature found in LBV and not in other comparable ROVS. As software is continually updated so to are the menus, be sure to check the manufacturer's website downloads section for the latest software version.

The menus are broken into 5 categories:

  • Main Menu
  • Setup
  • Calibrate
  • Diagnostics
  • Options

Main Menu

1. Accessory - used to designate the + and - keys on the keypad for accessory control.

2. Accessory - used to designate the + and - keys on the keypad for accessory control.

3. Accessory - used to designate the + and - keys on the keypad for accessory control.

4. User Text - Allows user to input up to 28 characters on the screen.

5. Main Menu - moves to next level of menus

Setup

1. Time/Date - Allows user to set the time and date.

2. Units/Measures - Allows the user to set to Imperial/Freshwater, Imperial/Seawater, Metric/Freshwater and Metric/Seawater for depth and temperature displays.

3. Monitor - Allows the user to set monitor type to either NTSC or PAL.

Calibrate

1. Camera Angle - Used to calibrate the camera angle indicator.

2. Temperature - Used to calibrate the temperature display.

3. Depth - Used to calibrate the depth display.

4. Compass - Used to calibrate the on board compass.

5. Monitor - Used to adjust the RF signal for some monitors.

Diagnostics

1. Self Check - Not implemented yet.

2. Software Version - Displays all software versions.

3. Hours Run - Total hours LBV has been on.

4. Internal Temperature - Displays the internal temperature of LBV.

Options

1. Camera Auto Rotate - This option allows the automatic rotation of the camera chassis so that when you switch between the two cameras you see the same perspective. Otherwise one camera looks perpendicular to the other.

2. Audio Channel - Used to select internal microphone or optional external hydrophone.

3. Camera Invert - Inverts the operation of the camera tilt keys.
