The LBV300S is a surface deployed 300 meter solution. Expanding upon the extensive features of the LBV150 series of ROVs the LBV300S has improvements in materials to cope with added depth and additional thrust for longer length umbilicals.

Starting with the revolutionary design of the LBV150 including all the standard features like four (4) thruster design, auto depth, auto heading, trim, 270 degree field of vision, intuitive controls and high resolution cameras the LBV300S is merely an expansion of an already sound design. Adding to the LBV150 are higher grade material type, denser flotation, additional flotation on the bumper frame, oil-compensated brushless DC thrusters, 1000 watt surface power supply, 600 watt vehicle power supply, thicker front view port and more.

With the added power of the brushless DC thrusters LBV300S is better equipped to handle long cable lengths. When using LBV at deeper depths it is required that a clump weight be used to help minimize the amount of drag created by the umbilical. The 6.5kgf of Bollard thrust, the small weight of the vehicle and the very small umbilical ensure that LBV is capable at depth.

LBV300S System includes the following:

LBV300 Vehicle depth rated to 300 meters with 4 thrusters including lateral. CCL202 Control console with single stick and membrane keypad. SPS1000 1000 watt surface power supply with isolation transformer, GFI, LIM and RCD. UMB350 350 meters of umbilical with connectors, strain relief and shackle. HPDC150 Higher performance brushless DC thrusters with individual oil-compensation. URS350 Umbilical reel with slip ring. Capacity 350 meters with removable hand crank. CBC570 570 line/0.3 lux color camera (1st position) with variable 50 watt halogen lamp tracking camera. BWC430 430 line/0.03 lux B&W camera (2nd position). PBF300 Protective bumper frame for added protection and buoyancy. PCC300 Pelican cases with custom closed cell foam to contain entire system. BSK300 Spares and tool kit containing seals, fasteners, props, lamp, RS232 cable and vacuum pump.
