 Further expanding the high
level of capability built into each 150 meter system
is the 300 meter depth rated systems. The obvious increase
is the greater depth capability, but that is only the
beginning. Adding to the deeper depth rating are improvements
in thrust and versatility without compromising size and
affordability.
Each LBV300 system comes
standard with individually oil compensated BRUSHLESS
DC thrusters providing increased thrust and reduced maintenance.
The forward Bollard thrust of the LBV300 is increased
to 6.5kgf with only a small increase in weight and size.
At 13.6kg the power to weight ratio is still an impressive
1:2.1. By oil filling the thrusters there is minimal
risk of water leakage and reduced shaft seal wear providing
extended use without maintenance. Additionally there
are no motor brushes to wear out.
All the standard features
found in the LBV150 systems are found in the LBV300 such
as four (4) thruster configuration including lateral,
video overlay, auto depth, auto heading, trim, 270 degree
field of vision and intuitive controls. Other features
added to the LBV300 systems are long cable length capabilities,
protective bumper frame with flotation and "fly
out" options.
