A Pelican brand case is fitted with a 800 nit sunlight readable 12" color monitor in the lid that is protected from the environment. The lower portion of the case is fitted with a vacuum formed panel housing the components of the surface power supply, control console and weatherproof compartment.

Users are able to operate the LBV with the same intuitive control console either resting in a tray or removed on the same 4 meter cable found in the standard LBV systems.

The weatherproof compartment can be used for a variety of purposes such as storage for a recording device, tools, spares, notes, etc.

Located on the console are controls for the monitor, output for optional video recording or monitor, RS232 port for programming LBV, power switch, power LED, status LED and circuit breaker. The system when open is rated I.P. 64 for splash proof and when closed I.P. 67. Connections for the umbilical and power are located on the outside keeping all cable connections clean and organized.
