Scissors is a modular unit, incorporating video camera and variable intensity lights. It can be readily integrated with your Inuktun MiniTrac robotic crawler units. This Camera Deployment Mechanism (CDM) raises a pan and tilt camera unit from a minimum height of 41 cm (16 in) to a maximum of 165 cm (65 in). Wiring for the camera, light and pan & tilt is routed through the hoist segments. The hoist raise/lower travel is limit switch protected. Scissors is a stand alone module...supplied with it's own power supply, function controller, multiconductor tether cable and video camera/light assembly. Video cameras are available in color or black & white.
