The low cost Crystal Cam Camera designed and developed by Inuktun is a unique, high performance micro drop video camera that is compact, lightweight and easily affordable. The camera head is completely encased in transparent epoxy giving it a rugged quality and the ability to operate to a depth of 300 m / 1000 ft. The standard unit comes with a Panasonic color camera at 380 TV lines resolution, .5 lux with ten bright LED's for illumination and only requires 5 VDC input. Higher resolution, low light color and black & white cameras will be available soon.

The encased camera is versatile and can be used independently allowing you to quickly locate a particular dive site or target area without getting wet or wasting valuable dive time searching. Alternatively the camera can be easily mounted on virtually any surface including divers hoods or helmets allowing true hands free operation or fixed to remote vehicles that operate in confined spaces or to depths as great as 300 m / 1000 ft. At only 3.75 cm / 1.5 in diameter by 5 cm / 2 in long the remote camera can easily fit through extremely small openings for inspection inside tanks, pipes and other confined spaces.

The Crystal Cam is a fixed focus system with a focal range from 10 cm (4 in) to infinity. The camera produces a standard video output that can be connected to most video recorders, monitors, and televisions.
