Equipment For In-Shore and Off-Shore
ROV's & AUV's
LBV is an underwater vehicle like no other. With it's compact size, rugged design, capable features and affordable price it is the perfect tool for any underwater application.
This new generation SEAMOR has been developed as a light duty work- class ROV. While maintaining many of the outstanding physical and operational characteristics of the original SEAMOR, this vehicle is capable of operating in ocean depths to 300m/1000 ft.
The Seaeye Falcon incorporates many of the features that have proved so successful in other Seaeye ROVs but with a number of technical innovations never before seen in a lower cost ROV. The Seaeye Falcon sets a new standard for inshore and coastal operations to 300 metres depth
THE SEAEYE TIGER is widely regarded internationally as the standard observation and inspection ROV for operations to depths of 1000 metres in the offshore oil and gas industry. Its performance in strong currents, excellent handling and maneuverability are unsurpassed. A Seaeye Tiger can be operated free swimming with up to 450 metres of umbilical or from a Type 2 or Type 5 TMS system to its full working depth.

AUVs & AUV Components
The GAVIA autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) is a fully modular, small torpedo shaped vehicle capable of diving down to 2000 metres with long endurance underwater.

Crawlers
These tracked units are precision machined from solid brass, aluminum or stainless steel stock and are fitted with high quality, powerful DC drive motors and vulcanized rubber track belts. Each unit is completely independent of the other, providing the system with excellent steering and maneuvering capabilities.
Microtracs units can be operated individually or as multiple units. Individually powered units and can be easily fitted to a variety of equipment platforms to suit a wide range of applications including video inspection, pipe examination, duct inspection, cleaning and more.
By design, Inuktun's MiniTracs units are small and rugged, providing the user with access to confined spaces and harsh environments. MiniTracs units can be operated individually or as multiple units. Each unit is individually powered and can be easily fitted to a variety of equipment platforms to suit a wide range of applications.
The VersaTrax 150 is a modular, long range internal pipe inspection system capable of operation within a variety of pipe sizes from a minimum internal diameter of 15cm/6 inches. Extremely powerful, this system is able to penetrate up to 450 m/1500 ft of pipe and overcome obstacles and offset joints.
The IPN pipe examination system was a joint project of NDT Design, Sonic Sensors and Inuktun Services Ltd, and was built for Pacific Gas & Electric. The vehicle was designed to operate in 22 inch natural gas pipe and perform non-destructive examinations of the welds.
The next generation of the VGTV will satisfy customers who need a versatile and portable inspection equipment that can do its work on rough ground, in poor visibility or extreme temperatures, and underwater to depths of 10 meters.

Sonar
Made from molded polyurethane and aluminum, and using ballast consisting of standard diver belt weights (readily available at dive centers) the Imagenex Digital Dual Side Scan Sonar Model SportsScan is capable of operating at ranges of 120M and depths of up to 30M (100ft).
Now with Multi-frequency Sonar, operators can generate highly detailed full-scale images with just one unit. The 881A is a programmable multi-frequency digital imaging sonar that you can operate using default frequency settings or customize the configurations for your own situation. High performance, lower cost, low power and simple set-up and installation, make this sonar perfect for the largest ROV’s to the smallest inspection ROV’s, plus AUV or UUV applications.
The Model 881A Azimuth Drive is a rugged and powerful rotary actuator drive that can be coupled to an Imagenex Model 881A Profiling Sonar. The two axes of rotation in this combined unit provide the capability to obtain accurate, high resolution range information in any direction.
The Imagenex Model 881A Echo Sounder is a completely self contained echo sounder with a serial output. It is mounted in a pressure proof housing with an underwater connector for use in depths up to 3000 meters (10000 feet). It can be used as a standard echo sounder or with digitized first returns only.
Now with Multi-frequency Sonar, operators can fine-tune their profiling range resolution. The Model 881A Profiling Sonar Head is a programmable multi-frequency digital scanning sonar that you can operate using default settings or customize the configurations for your own situation.
The DF-1030 is a compact, lightweight, high-resolution underwater unit that uses ΔF technology incorporating CTFM (Continuous Transmission Frequency Modulation). The Sub-
Bottom Profiler includes a standard RS-485 serial interface, transmitter, high performance, low frequency transducer, and an ultra low noise receiver circuit, which gives Imagenex sonar units their superior performance.
The Model 852 Digital Imaging Sonar was designed for use with the smallest of ROV’s. For maximum flexibility, this is a design with a fluid filled front end and a pressure housing for the electronics. The unit requires approximately 2.5 Watts from 24 VDC, or optional 48 VDC. Serial communication is utilized, RS-485 or RS-232 at 115.2 kbps. This unit will scan a maximum of 360° with a maximum range of 50 meters. The total weight in water is less than 0.2 kg (0.4 lbs).

Pan & Tilt
The Hydraulic Pan & Tilt performs flawlessly in deep ocean environments and in land applications where high speed and high torque motions are required. The Hydraulic Pan & Tilt is available in three models: 36-9 (360º pan, 90º tilt), 36-12 (360º pan, 120º tilt) and 36-18 (360º pan, 180º tilt).

Lights
40 years of design and manufacture for the Offshore Underwater Diving Industries are behind every product made at BIRNS. To the left is the Snooperwide light.
Nuytco Research Limited's NEWTLITE 200W is equipped standard with a 200W HMI osram hot-restrikable lamp. The HMI lamp delivers abundant light at 5600 degrees K for maximum color resolution.

Cameras
he Bowtech BP-CVIS II, Compact Video Inspection System is a portable control station for operation, viewing and recording of colour or monochrome video cameras together with audio input and intensity control of a lamp.

Tools
The Deepwork Hydraulic Cutoff Saw offers an effective and efficient method for remote, underwater cutting. Standard abrasive disk cutters are difficult to operate remotely due to the problem of regulating cutting pressure. The Deepwork Cutoff saw solves this problem by mechanically regulating the pressure applied to the cutting disk, relieving the operator of force management.
